Hi
AFAIK Sheffield is the only site in GRIDPP who uses software raid.
We do not see such a problem with SL5. All our storage is on sl5.
We installed sl5 together with 2 TB disks which were new. We installed SL5
from scratch.
Cheers,
Elena
