New Contemporary Political Theory Editors
Contemporary Political Theory and Palgrave Macmillan are delighted to announce the appointment of Terrell Carver and Samuel A. Chambers as editors of the journal from 1 July 2010. Professor Carver is based at the University of Bristol, UK, and Professor Chambers at Johns Hopkins University, USA. They are very grateful to the founding editors, Gary Browning and Raia Prokhovnik, for affording them this opportunity and for being so helpful in the transition. The journal has gone from strength to strength, and the new team looks forward to taking up the challenge of maintaining the high standards of scholarship and inclusiveness that the founders have set. CPT has been recently accepted for coverage by Thomson Reuters Social Sciences Citation Index, and the impact Factor will follow in due course. See the website http://www.palgrave-journals.com/cpt/index.html for details of the Critical Exchanges that are planned under our new editor, Lisa Disch, and note our new team of Associate Editors who will be ‘out there’ in the field talking to you and getting your views on how you think the journal should move ahead and become even more successful in attracting readers and influencing the field.
