Marcia, thanks for suggesting the Registry. I thought I'd add a few
more pieces of information to help David through his decisions.
The NSDL Registry (soon to change name to Open Metadata Registry) uses
SKOS to handle the kinds of concepts that Z39.19 handles as thesauri.
At present, in addition to the name change, we're planning a rewrite of
the software using a Drupal user interface, which should make it easier
to handle large thesauri, but in the meantime, we'd be happy to take a
look at your HTML and see how possible it would be to load your
thesaurus into the Registry. One of our strengths is our versioning and
history capabilities, and we'd be happy to talk to you about how that
might work in your situation.
