SENSECAM 2010, THE 2ND ANNUAL SENSECAM SYMPOSIUM, CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

ABOUT
The SenseCam 2010 Symposium will be held in one of Ireland's top tourist attractions, the Guinness Storehouse <http://vicon.createsend3.com/t/r/l/pillkj/dltubtlt/r> . The two-day event will feature scientific presentations on
SenseCam and its use in a variety of applications. This spectacular location will also be the base for relaxed social events with an opportunity to network with others
interested in memory, cognition, rehabilitation, epidemiology, ethnography, visual lifelogging, image processing, sensor fusion and other Sensecam related domains.
Members of the Vicon Revue <http://vicon.createsend3.com/t/r/l/pillkj/dltubtlt/y> and Microsoft Research SenseCam <http://vicon.createsend3.com/t/r/l/pillkj/dltubtlt/j> teams will also be on-hand to answer questions following the wider availability of the Revue to researchers,
clinicians and end-users with memory loss.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
We are delighted to announce that two keynote presentations will be delivered at SenseCam 2010. These will be delivered by Keiron O'Hara and Chris Moulin.
Keiron is a senior research fellow in Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton, and a research fellow of the Web Science Research Initiative,
currently on the LiveMemories project. Chris is a cognitive neuropsychologist and his current research interests focus on neuropsychological impairments of memory.
ATTENDING AND REGISTRATION
Registration for the event is now open. The costs for attending are below and registration may be completed through the symposium's website.
* Early Bird Registration: 200 EUR (available until August 1st)
* Full Registration: 250 EUR
The cost of registration includes a Gala event on the Thursday evening. This will include a self-guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse Tourist Experience, followed by a reception
in the breathtaking Gravity Bar. This will include traditional Irish meals. A limited number of travel bursaries, which will cover the cost of registration and travel, are also available.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
If you are interested in presenting your work with the SenseCam at the Symposium, either as a presentation, poster or system demonstration, we invite you to submit a 500 word
abstract on or before the 1st of August 2010. Abstracts can be submitted through the complete symposium website (see below).
