Dear All,
You might be interested in the attached transcript of an interview with David Attenborough which Pamela Smith of the Cambridge Personal Histories project has sent me. See her message below for details:
Dear Anthony McNicholas,
I wonder if you would forward the attached to the BBC-History e-mail list.
There may be some who would like to read this transcription of Sir David
Attenborough's participation in the Cambridge Personal-Histories Project
and the transcription is fully edited and approved by all who spoke.
I should mention that each year I invite senior scientists to discuss their
life histories with undergraduates and researchers.
Through the memories of key personalities, we may learn the history of
twentieth-century science.
The Personal-Histories project is entirely run by volunteers and the
resulting films, produced by students, are disseminated for free to be used
as teaching aids. The film of Sir David's appearance will be available in
October.
Good wishes!
Pamela
