Do you want to influence national and local policy on critical care?
Do you want to work with the largest high quality, clinical database of critically ill patients in the UK?
Do you want to provide statistical advice on, and have practical input into, a host of methodological and evaluative research studies in critical care?
If so, please join us at ICNARC...
...ICNARC was set up in 1994, as an independent charity (registered: 1039417) to foster improvements in the organisation and practise of intensive care in the UK. Underpinning all of ICNARC's work is a national, comparative audit of patient outcome which has led to the development of a high quality, clinical database of critically ill patients (currently 940,000 admissions to 246 critical care units). This audit is called the Case Mix Programme. ICNARC has built on this resource to establish a National Audit Programme and a Clinical Trials Unit (supporting a broad range of externally funded research which currently includes three randomised controlled trials and four observational (cohort) studies).
ICNARC requires both a Statistician and Statistical Research Assistant to assist in the provision of statistical services within the Centre.
