Burkert is also useful for his discussion of the
Astral Otherworld. Stellification has parallels
with both daemonification and angelification in
other traditions, and some of those quite late
- see Fowler's *Time's Purpled Masquers*, for
example, or Swinford's *Through the Daemon's Gate*.
