Well here's hoping people don't reach for the delete key immediately!
Long term members of the list will know about the Gender and Disaster
Network (GDN) www.gdnonline.org but newer members may not. If you are
interested in finding out how disasters affect men and women
differently, then you can find many resources on the website. You can
also register https://www.gdnonline.org/profile/register.php to be part
of the GDN listserv where enthusiastic members provide information on
new resources and issues and also generously answer members' and
non-members' questions.
Regards
Maureen

Subject: do we network enough?
When yet another conference invitation landed in my inbox the other day,
I wondered why the organisers weren't using this list or other lists.
Then I thought about how much information isn't being shared widely
enough. For every natural networker - and there are a few who are
members of this list, thank goodness - there are many, many more who
don't even think about sharing. Some of you are probably horrified at
the prospect of even more listserve messages filling up their mailboxes,
but the delete key is only a small movement of the finger away. Maybe we
all need to raise our game here?
