The School of Creative Arts, Film and Media at the University of Portsmouth invites applications for the post of Lecturer in Media Studies (Media Writing).
You will have experience of media writing, specifically in the areas of script, screenwriting, documentary, television drama, magazine writing and/or public relations. You should also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the broader context of media studies and of the theory and history of media writing production.
Professional experience in media writing production would be an asset. You will be required to contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as a member of the teaching team.
You should be flexible enough to teach and supervise at all levels, including postgraduate, and possess excellent organisational, communication, team-working and administrative skills.
