Has anyone incorporated a talking head with short screencasts about accessing electronic
resources?

We've done a couple using the free version of Jing from TechSmith. You
can download it for free from the internet.
It's very easy to use but, being free, you can't edit so your
screencasts need to be done in one take. This isn't too bad if you've
got your 'script' and have practised. We found it best if two people
did the recording - one to do the 'voiceover' and the other to operate
the keyboard and mouse.

Subject: Screencasts
Dear Colleagues
I would like to produce short screencasts about accessing electronic
resources. Does anyone have any suggestions for software that would be
suitable? Ideally the software would be free and easy for a non-techie
to use!
Kind regards
