London South Bank University, one of the leading new universities for research, invites applications for MPhil/PhD in the area of social policy. We are particularly interested in applications focusing on aspects of family lives, relationships and policies, linked to the Families & Social Capital Research Group’s work: http://www.lsbu.ac.uk/families, but other broad subject areas include: International Development; Poverty; Race and Ethnicity; Migration and Diasporas; Gender and Sexuality; Urban Development and Policy; Regeneration and Post-disaster Reconstruction; Crime; Longitudinal Methodologies.
Applicants will need at least a good 2.1 in a relevant subject and a master's degree in social science research methods or relevant to their proposed field of study, preferably from an ESRC-recognized course.
