The short answer to this question is; no.
The reason being capitalism has reached such a cynical historic position
where one no longer needs a belief in capitalism.
Patriarchy previously provided through a feminist opposition a belief in
capitalism, but this is no longer required. Gay rights politics have
also run into this problem where capitalism having no need for
homophobia which is structurally link to the patriarchal ideology of
exchange of women.
The example of a multinational drug company actually producing the
symptoms and and illnesses it claims to cure, Tramal, is one example of
capitalism having no need for belief in itself.
Historically, this is a very interesting problem which seems to explain
the new social democratic formations I know of in Aust and USA.
Anyways, been studying and thinking this through so other perspectives
and comments welcome.
