Hi. I finally read my first non-poetry book by Alison Croggon. I want to
say that this is exactly the sort of thing my last group of students was
trying to write: they were thinking, even as undergrads, how to pay for
their literary and artistic interests throughout a creative life without
being careerist w/in writing or working for a bank like I did.
I enjoyed THE NAMING, but whew, long road movie-book ever.
I then looked Alison up on Goodreads, which -- have I made sure everyone
here knows about it? Quite international, though founded in Ohio, US,
because one of the few ways unmarried people can get together in many
countries is online through sites that are literary. But Alison, I'm upset
-- or rather confused. Your poetry isn't on Goodreads, and it is not
possible to be in your network, only your fan. Maybe, since you have 110
fans there already, you can be A Croggon, superpoet?

All best,
Catherine Daly
