Heather, you are not alone! What is the point of a listserv if the answers to questions are only sent to the person asking the question?

Dear Kip and list members,
I'd just like to say that I've found this latest conversation very interesting - and informative! I wish there was more of it on this listserve. Of course, there are very specific, personal conversations which are not really suited to the wider list, but the conversation in this case seems to have interest beyond the two people talking.
Perhaps I am alone in thinking this, but I for one would welcome such conversations rather than simply information about events.
Kind regards,
Heather

Dear list members,
Could I ask that specific responses to other members be sent to the person involved only and not to the entire list?
Most use this list as an informational resource only, rather than a discussion group. When it becomes conversational, I get some complaints.
Thanks for your co-operation!
Cheers,
Kip
