I did an MSc in Occupational Health Psychology at Nottingham University with the same team as the course in Workplace Health and in the same way (distance learning), back in 2005. I really enjoyed it and found the distance learning/blended method suited me as I could fit it around work, home etc. It does take a lot of motivation and self discipline though and those on the course with little experience or background knowledge of occupational health struggled.
It was cheaper than 8K - I am also currently looking at funding as I'm doing further study. The RCN appear to have cut some of the awards they offer and unless you are Scotland based there is no specific funding for occupational health anymore - this used to be available through the forums.
Happy to discuss off line if it would help.
Regards
Karen

Hi List,
I am keen to do an MSc in Occ Health and am having difficulty in locating somewhere that does it purely distance learning. However I have sourced this course which I think looks good...although expensive at £8k :-O

What do you think...any opinion would be much appreciated also any ideas for funding would also be appreciated!!
Kind regards
Rachael
