Please have a look on the table. As we wrote before, we assumed that ICV is the product of VSCALING times Brain SIENAX values.
In our Brain FAST values, only intrabrain CSF was measured. Thus other regions in which liquor can be found, such as dural venous sinuses and arachnoid granulations, were not rated.
We are particularly interested in Alzheimer Disease patients and we expected to see in this group a greater difference between the Brain volume and the ICV. However in one subject ICV volume is smaller, what doesn´t make sense.
