Hello,
Very recently on our Darwin Mac, fslview seems to have started to
automatically replace NaN's with 0 in the Intensity field, whereas
previously it would show such voxels as having Intensity=NaN.
Similarly, if I take a nii (type=float32) that has NaN's according to
SPM's display tool, and run it through fslmaths -nanm, the resulting
mask file is blank, indicating that supposedly no NaN's are present.
But, if I load this same volume into Matlab (using SPM's tools) NaN's
are present. (FreeSurfer's 'mri_info' utility also indicates that NaN's
are present).
Is there a config file of some sort that could explain this change in
behavior? Or perhaps a pertinent library that might have been changed
as part of a machine update? To my knowledge, nobody intentionally
changed anything on the machine directly related to FSL, which makes
this change in behavior very puzzling.
thanks,
-MH
