Dear all,
while we are at it, does anyone know whether there is a morphologically
encoded / tagged XML edition of the Septuagint anywhere?
I know about Rahlf's edition converted to a Sword module, I know about the
Morphologically Analyzed "LXX" by CATSS and Bob Kraft (it seems to have
been included in one version of the PHI disk, but to have been dropped in
later versions), and I have contacted Bernard Taylor (author of The
Analytical Lexicon to the Septuagint), who says that their data is in
ASCII, since this is preferred by those who have licensed it. I have also
checked the projects page on the DC wiki, and other more or less likely
watering holes (Zefania Bible XML).
It would be nice to be able to explore a classical corpus as compared with
a Christian / Koine one (there is a PhD student interested to do something
similar).
Best,
Neven
