The higher the soil organic content, the lower their mobility, as they
will tend to adsorb to it more strongly. They are highly insoluble in
aqueous media as far as I am aware.

Another distance related question i'm afraid.......i just wanted to get
an idea as to what kind of distance people would consider PCBs to be an
issue around a source, i.e transformer station or substation......?
Obviously their mobility depends on ground type etc, but I was under the
impression they were not particulary mobile?
