This kind of course does exist, but usually within a larger school
programme setting. For example, Christie's Education offers excellent
training in cataloguing (to Christie's standards, which may be
different than other institutions), but I believe the courses are only
accessible to students doing a part-time, diploma, or master's degree
there. You may be able to find an evening course in cataloguing at
one of the auction house schools in London. Hope this is helpful.
