The ESRC has awarded research funding to Manchester Social
Anthropology for a project entitled "The Domestic Moral Economy: An
Ethnographic Study of Value in the Asia-Pacific Region". This news
might be especially interesting to post graduate students who hold an
M.Phil or research M.A. and wish to continue their research in the
Pacific.
We will appoint two doctoral candidates who will carry out their own
studies in tandem with our research programme which includes Karen
Sykes as Chief Investigator, and Chris Gregory and Fiona Magowan
