Dear All
I also had a look at the QS website, and was unsure of what was required. The amount of detail required as listed on the site would require quite a lot of work to collate, and so I wanted to have complete clarity. I attach the email correspondence between Irene-Jay Shin from QS and I, which explains, if I read it correctly, that we should all be contacted shortly with a request for information, the deadline of which is likely to be 28th June, and that adding any other information is our choice. However, the last email I had to this effect was mid May, and I shall therefore be contacting Irene again in order to establish what the latest information is, and more clarity on what the advanategs are to providing all of the detailed data, and conversely what the disadvantages are of not providing them. I will contact you with any response I get, if this would be useful to you.
If anyone has any more recent information, please let me know.
Kind regards
Clare

Sorry to revive this thread, but I hope it is slightly less irritating than opening a new one.
I've looked at the QS website and, while there is a chunk of information that could be requested from HESA, a wide range of the data they are requesting is not collected by HESA. Is anyone else returning these odds and ends to QS?
(QS is now completely separate from ThomsonReuters and THES)
The list of the things they are collecting is attached (apologies for the sorting: it is sorted roughly by the department here that would hold this data).
We are unsure about whether there is any merit in returning some of these things and would be interested to hear what other institutions are doing.
Thanks in advance,
Wesley
