Hi,
Yes we use HEIDi but also belong to the DLA Piper benchmarking service. We also use local and national labour force stats to set targets for locally recruited and nationally recruited grades based on BME economically active populations.

Subject: Targets and Benchmarks
Hello all,
We are planning to set some new equality benchmarks/targets for the next few years here
at Manchester Met Uni for both staff and students (inc. disability, ethnicity, gender).
I am just wondering if you could let me know where you get your benchmarks/targets from?
Maybe HEIDI - Overall HEI sector or just more local to you e.g. North-West, Census
Data....
I have compiled data from various sources but would appreciate any responses saying what
you do at your institution.
Many Thanks,
