Hi,
I'm having a little trouble with Gaia and would be very grateful for
any help or advice anyone could offer.
I am having problems with Gaia when I try to select an area using
"Image Regions" then gather statistics on that region. I can select a
region of interest but, as soon as I click 'stats selected' gaia
freezes and I can't do anything but kill the session.
This sounds very similar to the previous thread "aperture photometry
in gaia causes freeze", I ran through the solutions suggested in that
thread, including checking that 'localhost' is defined and that
'netstat -i' shows a 'lo' device. However, I ran into problems when
trying to run the icl tasks. I'm not familiar with icl but when I
tried to run it I got the message
'icl: error while loading shared libraries: libams_adam.so.0: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory'
As this is very similar to the thread I mentioned before, I was
hoping that someone would recognise the problem. I'd appreciate any
help.
Cheers
Larry
