Applications are invited for a Samples of Anonymised Records (SARs) Development Officer at the Cathie Marsh Centre for Census and Survey Research.
An experienced researcher or project manager is required to contribute to the strategic development of the Samples of Anonymised Records data service (SARs) at the University of Manchester. This service is funded under the ESRC Census Programme and is directed by Professor Edward Fieldhouse.
The post is available on either grade 6 or 7 according to experience and skills demonstrated. At Grade 7 a post holder would be required to take a leading role in developing future of census microdata. At Grade 6, the post holder would be expected to provide a key supporting role in the development of census microdata and to work with minimal supervision. Grade 7 would only be appropriate where the post holder has demonstrable expertise in census microdata and good awareness of the UK microdata user community.
