It didn't seem too bad an idea to me. If there's 2 (+) prev
pregnancies with sig PND I should have thought the chances of 3/3 were
rather high. If prev Rx helped, I would certainly think regular
monitoring of mood from before the last times date of onset was a good
idea, and at the first signs of dipping would have a pretty low
threshold to get them on it given the ?2-4 week delay in action.
The key would be the monitoring though, might well need a damn sight
more than 10mg cipramil if things kick off :-)
Phone advice from local psych (especially if there is one who attended
a previous episode) might provide documented arse-covering comfort
blanket +/- enlightenment. :-)
