I too like the idea of a virtual extension to the conference, however for much the same reason as not being able to attend physically, I dont think it would work for me in real time. That said, I agree that using the forum set up by Grant would allow for ongoing discussion with other members, both who attended and those who were unable.
I admit I have occasionally 'lurked' on the discussion forum set up by Grant, but generally havent posted as have sometimes felt some pressure (orgins unknown!) about posting something onto the forum with more experienced colleagues. Also it does seem very quiet on there....
