About History Studies

The History Studies (ISSN: Print 1309 - 4688, Online: 1309 4173) is a new
international, peer-reviewed history journal.  The HS published its first
issue both in print and online in 2009. The second issue has just been
released in April 2010. The HS is published three times a year. All
submitted articles go through a rigorous double-blind review. The HS has a
worldwide circulation. A limited number of each issue is printed and
delivered to selected libraries. The HS publishes academic articles,
interviews, translations and book reviews. The HS accepts papers in every
geographical and historical period of history from the ancient times to
present.  The editorial board members and referees of the HS have a wide
range of expertise. The primary publication language of the HS is Turkish of
Turkey.  The HS also accepts submissions in other Turkish dialects, in
English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish. The HS has a guest
editor system.  The HS aims to release a special 
 issue at least once a year with a selected theme and a guest editor.  For

The articles submitted for publication must not be previously published
elsewhere.  The HS retains the copyright of published articles but allows
authors to use their articles for their book publications. The HS is an
independent academic journal. It has no affiliation with an  institution or
an organization.

How to Submit
All articles can be submitted and tracked online at www.historystudies.net
A free membership to HS website is required to submit research articles for
publication. In order to become a member click on the "submit manuscript"
link on the main page, www.historystudies.net . Select your language from
the drop down menu, and then click on the new member link, Create a username
(your email) and a password,
Follow the guidelines and fill in your information. Once your membership is
approved by the editor, you can submit your articles from the same "submit
manuscript" section using your username (your email
address) and password. Please feel free to submit your manuscript for review
and for possible inclusion in a future issue of the HS.
