Colleagues:
Beginning in this fall semester, I will be teaching a class in International Media Systems. Among other things, I plan to engage my students in topical issues from other countries.
I strongly believe that one of the best ways to accomplish this is to allow them to hear the perspectives of media professionals and academics that live in these nations. I hope to accomplish this by making contact through Skype with a select number of individuals, each on a one time basis.
Since our class meets from 12:30pm until 13:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we’ll likely contact subjects between 18:15 and 20:15 their time, depending upon the country and its time zones. Each call will likely last between 15 and 30 minutes.
Is anyone on list interested in offering learned perspectives on British television programming, news, and public affairs to my class this fall?
If so, I can forward a syllabus to you within weeks that outline the class, the subject matters we’ll address, and a series of questions, in advance, that students will likely ask.
What do you think?

Good leads which I will pursue.
Not sure if the Institute was in Brighton. I've come across others in
other port cities.
