Apologies for our HR department's earlier attempt at posting this...

WEB EDITOR - Ca/CM/254/10
EDINBURGH
£28,300 - £33,265 PER ANNUM

SAC is a Scottish organisation dedicated to innovation and the transfer of knowledge to the land based industries. Our 900 staff provide consultancy, research, education & training services to rural businesses and communities via a nation-wide network of around 40 business units.

In this position you will be working as part of a small Communications team and directly responsible to the Head of Communications. The SAC website is a key element of SAC communications within the organisation and with our different client groups or wider audiences. The Web Editor is responsible for the management of web content, providing web support and liaising with colleagues across all SAC Divisions.

The Web Editor should have appropriate qualifications and proven experience in a multidisciplinary web environment, preferably with a HEI or similar and be familiar with content management systems. The post requires good skills in the English language, with an ability to write and edit. An awareness of the life sciences and agriculture would be useful.

The salary will be in the region of £28,300 - £33,265 per annum.

Apply online at http://www.sac.ac.uk. If you do not have access to the Internet, you may request an application pack by contacting Human Resources on 0131 535 4277. Please note that CV's will not be accepted without a completed application form.

Closing date: 11 June 2010. Please quote: CA/CM/254/10.

Best Regards
David
