About the Seminar
Racing Green Endurance (RGE) is a student-led initiative to promote sustainable transport. RGE hails from Imperial College London, and with the help of our sponsors we aim to modify an existing sports car into a high performance electric which we will race 26,000km up the Pan-American Highway in 100 days. The race will be filmed into a multipart documentary, and coordinated media events around the world will be ready to welcome us into many of the major cities on our route.
About the Speaker
Clemens Lorf is a PhD student from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Imperial College London. Before, he studied Mechanical Engineering focusing on sustainable energy engineering at Imperial and at the RWTH in Aachen, Germany. His research centres around energy consumption in electric vehicles.
