Subject: Grimaldi Forum Monaco : Press kit of the art exhibition "Kyoto-Tokyo, from Samurais to Mangas", from July 14th to September 12th, 2010
Hello
We are pleased to send you the press kit of the exhibition-event: "Kyoto-Tokyo, from Samurais to Mangas" running this summer in the Principality of Monaco, from July 14 to September 12 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
The medieval Japan dominated by images of the Samurai time of the ancient capital Kyoto, the discovery of the strategic road Tokaido backdrop of Mount Fuji, the emergence of today's capital Tokyo and its avant-garde developments in fields as varied as architecture, ecology, robotics, film and comic manga with the powerful, modern transposition of the samurai of old, symbolizing the bridge between tradition and modernity in a Japan still mysterious, often baffling for Westerners that we are, a final focus on the contemporary art ... These are some of the topics to be covered by this exhibition of 4000 m2 which will see the participation of the major Japanese and European museums, and many collectors and art galleries.
We keep at your disposal a picture book full of dozens of visuals free of rights, as well as the official poster of the exhibition.
We remain at your disposal for any further information.
Waiting for your next contact.
Sincerely yours.
