Things have gone horribly wrong. I'm guessing that our CentOS build is not compatible with the glibc in fedora 12. That would imply that the software needs to be rebuilt for your platform.
One last thing to try is to run in the debugger.

gdb> run clear=true axes=true device=xwindow mode=range
gdb> bt
and give me a more detailed backtrace. Not holding out much hope though.
