Dear All,
some time ago, we released a toolbox to create custom priors based on
the statistical analysis of a large reference population (see
http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.neuroimage.2008.02.056).
We are happy to announce that the Template-O-Matic Toolbox has been
updated to run in SPM8. This update now allows the user to generate
customized priors for "classical" unified segmentation (GM, WM, CSF, and
T1) as well as for "new segment" (GM, WM, CSF, T1 plus 3 non-brain
tissue classes in a single .nii-file). The new version also includes an
integrated update algorithm that allows easy access to possible updates
and fixes.
Both toolboxes (the updated version for spm8 and the original version
for spm5) are available on the downloads page (see link below).
Regression parameters for creating pediatric templates are provided, but
you still have the option to assess your own population, pediatric,
adult, or geriatric alike.
As before, the toolboxes are made available free of charge to all
interested parties for research purposes only. If you are interested,
please find more information at
https://irc.cchmc.org/software/tom.php
From there, proceed to the download pages and fill out the brief
registration form (your information will not be shared with anyone).
We hope you will (continue to) find the toolbox useful.
For the authors,
best regards,
Marko
