Hi,
for the VBM8 toolbox I have compiled the c-code for the different platforms using VirtualBox, which worked very well. However, some users reported that the mexw32 files could not be found on windows 32bit systems. It is a little bit odd, that not all windows 32bit machines are affected and I could not find any reason for that. Has anybody an idea? My first guess was that this is a file permission issue, but the permissions are ok.
The virtual Windows 32bit systems in VirtualBox is based on a Windows XP 32 bit installation, matlabR2009b, and a Lcc-win32 C compiler (using mex). Mex is called with the optimization flag.
Furthermore, I would be happy if some VBM8 windows 32bit users could send me off-list (!) their own compilations. If the mexw32 files are removed the respective matlab script recompiles the c-code automatically during the next VBM8 run.
Regards,
Christian
