Dear colleague and Editorial Advisory Board member,
We are pleased to announce that the first issue of Imaginations: Journal of Cross-Cultural Image Studies is nearing completion. The release date is planned for the beginning of September. We are very excited.
It promises to live up to the standards we have set for creative new research in the increasingly globalized world of academia.
And it is just a start.
You will find two different Call for Papers in attachment.
One is aimed at constituting an evolving team of collaborators for what will be an ongoing review/blog section on the Journal's main page. Phd students, postdoctoral researchers, writers, independent or institution-affiliated scholars are all welcome to contribute.
The second is an announcement for the second issue that is planned for release in Spring 2011.
We would appreciate if you could circulate those call for papers in your networks.
We promise to keep you posted on the developments leading up to the release of the first issue of Imaginations. Your presence and contribution on the advisory editorial board is of great value, and again, we thank you for it.
