Hi Tobie
I remember Kathy Sykes has given a few presentations with various diagrams demonstrating some of the main organisations working in public engagement - there's a presentation by her here, with some listings of organisations working in public engagement - http://www.britishscienceassociation.org/web/ScienceinSociety/ScienceCommunicationConference/_2006_Reportsday1.htm - an updated version would have the Universities which are Beacons for Public Engagement in it too.
All the best

Subject: [PSCI-COM] public engagement map by institution?
hi,
the recent Science for All report has a diagram on page 7, "purposes and motivations for public engagement".
Does anyone know of a diagram that represents the 'field' of public engagement by institution and group?
I have a diagram from an Open University course, depicting policy and participation with science and technology. This does a good job, but is from 1975!
best wishes,
Tobie
