Well, that's a well-argued and detailed argument, taking in his subsequent
behaviour... allowing for all the counter arguments
But I have no problem with it. It's just not plausible.
The advice we have been given assumes rationality and good will on both
sides; but your simple faith and loyalty will be rewarded in another place
