For some reason, you are assuming that it must have, simply because (it seems to me) you believe that the idea of cross-fertilization is universally applicable across all disciplines. But there is no logical necessity for this regarding jump cuts.
True, the term “cross-fertilization”, itself, can have a meaning in poetry, regarding various borrowings by poetry from other disciplines. But a jump cut is peculiar to cinema, mainly because its practice and effects are wholly contingent on the editing of film (and, I should add, the way the human brain perceives and interprets moving objects) rather than on the editing of lexical texts.
