Lectureships in Operational Research (2 Posts)

Salary scale £29,853 - £43,840 p.a. (Grade 6 and 7)
Candidates must demonstrate a publication record of international excellence in Operational Research or a closely allied subject area, and a strong interest in the teaching function. Applicants must have a strong methodological background with the potential to make significant contributions to the Operational Research community, as well as an ability to translate theory into practice.
Preference may be given to those with interests in healthcare modelling or heuristics, but candidates working in mathematical areas with potential links to these topics are also encouraged to apply.
These positions are permanent but are financed initially under LANCS, an EPSRC Science and Innovation initiative (see http://www.lancs-initiative.ac.uk).
