Nominations for the 2010 Joshua Phillips Award for Innovation in Science
Engagement are now open. The Josh Award is an annual award that
recognises excellence and innovation in science engagement. The winner
will be announced and presented with the award at the Manchester Science
Festival this October.
The award is open to anyone involved in science engagement, who is
recognised as an up and coming talent, with innovative and new ideas. As
well as a cash prize and a trophy, the winner will be appointed Science
Communicator in residence at the 2011 Manchester Science Festival.
Previous winners include Chris Smith from the Naked Scientists, Karen
Bultitude from the University of the West of England and David Price
from Science Made Simple.
