Knowledge Management Unit
£25,472 - £34,189 (Band 6)

The Knowledge Management Unit will develop and co-ordinate the use of knowledge across NHS QIS covering internal information management, knowledge support, methodology development and the provision of an external knowledge management service. This role will ensure learning is shared across programmes and that the appropriate knowledge sources are available to support the development and implementation of healthcare improvement activity. Working closely with others this role will consider, develop, test and explore new techniques and methodologies for knowledge generation, capture, deployment and application.
Applicants should have a postgraduate Masters qualification in a relevant subject in addition to a BSc, BA or equivalent in preferably life sciences, social-sciences or health care related subject. Applicants will also require experience of developing and delivering programmes of training taking into account adult learning styles and requirements, an excellent understanding of knowledge management tools and techniques and very well developed interpersonal skills.
