Apologies for cross postings
Dear All,
I am working on a project about moving image collections and how these can
made more accessible to the general public. Part of this project involves
researching the current work carried out by libraries in relation to moving
image collections/films, community engagement, intergeneration work, and
film making. To help with this it would be good identify libraries and
library services that are already working with moving images/film, either
through partnership working with their Regional Film Archive, or working
with community groups on film based projects. We are particularly
interested in intergenerational work, working with youth groups (11 -
14/KS2), and older persons groups; and if any organisation works with these
groups on film based projects.
So, I was wondering if any of the above was relevant, would be able to
answer a couple of quick questions?
Does your library/service actively work with film on any intergeneration
projects?
Does your library/service actively work on film based projects with:
a) Youth groups
b) Older persons Groups
Does your library/service work with your regional film agency?
Please reply off list (reply to [log in to unmask]).
Many Thanks
