Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone has any comments/opinions on DeepDyve? We are
considering whether we should participate and there are a few areas we'd
like to investigate. See website:
http://www.deepdyve.com/
In particular, does anyone use DeepDyve regularly for research? If so,
how do you find it? Is there demand for more content to be included in
DeepDyve? We're trying to determine what type of users/researchers use
DeepDyve - whether it is more for the general public, or indeed for
academic researchers? We wonder whether we should be reaching out to
other researchers through this manner, or not.
What is the general opinion about us participating if we don't enable
articles to be rented? But simply have content indexed on the site?
Would this be beneficial? Do users want to rent articles? Is it
attractive to be able to read an article online without being able to
print/download it?
Any feedback anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,
Helen
