Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the "Think German" initiators - the German Embassy, the German Academic Exchange Service, the Goethe Institute and the UK German Connection - I would like to bring forward the following appeal to your attention:
Have you recently run a German-related project or event which you would like to tell the world about? Or are you perhaps planning a German-related project or event this year? – Then why not share your experiences and inspire others through the new Think German website?
Think German is a joint project by the German Embassy and German-related cultural and educational partner institutions in the UK. With an exciting programme of events, information materials and a website full of interesting projects, quizzes and competitions, Think German aims to raise the profile of German in the UK. Above all, there are lots of possibilities for you to get involved and showcase your work!
Projects and events can relate to any linguistic level and age group, either in or out of school – as long as they have a German focus. To have a look at the kind of projects people have already sent us, please visit:
http://thinkgerman.org.uk/think_german_projects
Everyone who sends us a project showcase description before 21 May will be entered into a prize draw to win a luxury hamper of German goodies!
To showcase your projects, please send us:
- A short project summary of no more than 100 words
- Names of project organiser(s)
- Location of project (e.g. school, town)
- Date of project
- 1-4 good photos of the project
- Your name and email address
