Dear All,
British Geophysicists are normally fellows of either the Geological
Society of London or the Royal Astronomical Society. Unfortunately
Geophysics has no representation on the councils for either of these
learned societies.
You can change this by letting your name stand for council, which is
just what Barry Parsons (Oxford) and Stuart Crampin (Edinburgh) have
done this year. If you are a member of the Royal Astronomical Society
please vote for them. Electronic votes are accepted until noon today
and postal votes are accepted until end of day tomorrow. Fortunately,
there is no chance of a 'hung' council.
Regards,
Mike
