Yes. Or use fslroi.

Betreff: [FSL] Deleting volumes in separate preprocessing and modelling FEAT scripts
Hi! I am trying to (1) preprocess in feat, then in separate FEAT scripts, (2-4) analyze this preprocessed data in higher level feat models.
In preprocessing i delete some volumes. Then for one of the later, separately run feat models, I delete an additional volume. Each time i try to run this model where I delete an additional volume I get an error:
/usr/local/fsl/bin/film_gls -rn stats -sa -ms 5 filtered_func_data design.mat 84.468277
Log directory is: stats
Num scans = 260, design matrix rows = 259
It seems like FEAT is not deleting the scan. Is it the case that when you are running FEAT without preprocessing, the 'delete volumes' field is only used to create the regressors, and not to manipulate the data? In that case, would the easiest thing to do be to just use fslsplit to remove the first volume from the filtered_func_data.nii.gz in the preprocessing feat directory? Or is there something else going on here that I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
Chris
