Thanks! Choosing the "Full Search" option corrected the problematic registrations for those select subjects. In fact for all of my subjects, the structurals and functionals were in different orientations so a Full Search option was certainly most appropriate. Just a few quick questions:
1. Out of curiosity, why would the Normal Search option work for some of my cases?
2. Other than some marginal increase in computing time, is there any cost associated with always choosing Full Search?
3. Do Normal and Full refer to Local and Global, respectively, in the Jenkinson et al. 2002 Neuroimage paper (Improved optimisation for the robust and accurate linear registration and motion correction of brain images)?
