Open Day: Digital Inclusion - learning more and making a difference
1pm-5pm, Saturday 15th May at The Barn, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon London, NW4 4BT
We would like to invite you to our Digital Inclusion Open Day at Middlesex University, to discuss current issues in Digital Inclusion and talk about the new Digital Inclusion programme at Middlesex University. You will meet with the teaching staff (Gill Whitney and Suzette Keith) and with other professionals in design for all and digital inclusion.
Digital Inclusion is about making sure that everyone is able to take advantage of the changing information society - and especially disabled people, the growing numbers of older people and others with social issues that make it difficult for them to get access or take part. The MSc/PG dip Digital Inclusion is the first of its kind in Europe and was developed as part of an ambitious plan to increase the number of people who are professionally qualified to deliver accessible solutions.
As part of professional development you can learn while you work. The masters and post-graduate programme in Digital Inclusion run part-time over two years. Each module begins with a one week session at the Hendon Campus followed by activities and assignments that are delivered on-line. You can enrol now for October 2010 start.
