It is Lathyrus "sativus".
There are some Lathyrus findings in Central Europe in the La Tène period of the "Celtic"
area. more than in the Roman period, even in the former Tchechoslovakia. Lathyrus is axe
shaped. Ervilia is a rounded tetraeder.
It is not possible to distinguish between Lathyrus sativus and L. cicera. It is possible to
distinguish between a big "fat" type and a sharp angled "sporty" type. This is the fat type.
Lathyrus "sativus" is always "sativus" (that is cultivated, sown, planted).
All wild European Lathyrus species have small seeds of the Vicia-Type.
